About Spotlight Piano School

Established in 2009, Spotlight Piano School has guided more than 600 private piano students in Clear Lake, League City, Friendswood, and the greater Houston area. From its beginnings in Clear Lake, the studio has grown steadily while maintaining a clear mission: to provide high-level, structured piano instruction rooted in strong technique and consistent guidance.

While Spotlight is known for training many accomplished and competition-level students, we welcome learners of all ages and experience levels. We do not select students based on talent — we develop it. Through careful instruction and clear expectations, students build the skills and confidence needed for meaningful musical growth.

Our instructors hold advanced degrees in piano performance and are committed to maintaining professional standards in every lesson. In recognition of student achievements, Spotlight has been awarded the distinction of Steinway Top Teacher and Kawai Medallion Educator.

Beyond private lessons, students have opportunities to deepen their musicianship through music theory, ear training, state theory testing, recitals, masterclasses, competitions, and community performances. Our goal is not only musical excellence, but also the development of discipline, confidence, and lifelong appreciation for the arts.
