About Spotlight Piano School

Established in 2009, Spotlight Piano School has guided more than 600 private piano students from beginning through advanced levels. From its beginnings in Clear Lake, the studio has grown steadily while maintaining a clear mission: to provide high-level, structured piano instruction rooted in strong technique, musicianship, and consistent guidance.

While Spotlight is known for developing accomplished and award-winning students, we welcome learners of all ages and experience levels. We do not select students based on talent — we develop it.

We believe piano study provides a strong foundation not only for musicianship and appreciation of the arts, but also for discipline, focus, creativity, confidence, and other skills that carry into many areas of life. Over the years, Spotlight students have gone on to pursue piano, composition, and other areas of music and arts at the college level and beyond.

Our teachers bring advanced training in piano performance and music education and are committed to maintaining high professional standards in their teaching.

Beyond weekly lessons, Spotlight students and teachers take part in performances, collaborations, community outreach, masterclasses, competitions, and other musical activities throughout the Houston area and beyond.
